The House of LUMORA
A Curated Edit Born from Two Traditions
LUMORA began as a single question: how do you dress for a festival of light without losing the quiet authority of good tailoring? CartBee's curators answered by bringing artisanal weaving and modern structured cutting under one house, so every festive look reads as considered rather than costume.
Each piece in the edit is selected for its material honesty and its construction. We look for garments that hold their line under lamplight, watches whose finishing rewards a closer look, and silhouettes that remain relevant long after the last diya has burned down.
Material and Making
Handloom Heritage, Structured Modernity
Our brocades and hand-spun silks are sourced with care for their makers and their fibres. Traditional handloom techniques are paired with contemporary structural tailoring, giving embroidered textiles a clean, architectural line that suits both the boardroom and the celebration.
Metallic finishes on buttons, clasps and watch cases are chosen for their tone and durability, so the gold you see in the edit is meant to last beyond a single season.
A Design Reflection
Festive light is at its best when it reveals the garment rather than competing with it. A well-made piece should still feel right once the lamps are lowered and the evening is quiet.— LUMORA Curatorial Team
